Funiculars are not only used in ski areas or other mountain applications. In the last years big cities especially in developing countries started to implement big lifts to bypass areas that are difficult to reach because of specific geographical or demographical reasons. In order to control these lifts a user interface is necessary on different stages especially at the start - in most cases the valley - and at the end which is mainly the mountain station. Together with the client‘s team we developed a generic interface that is today being applied on all new lift stations.
